New Plays from South Africa: After 20 Years of Democracy

This week I am shooting at the Royal Court Theatre covering their New Plays from South Africa: After 20 Years of Democracy. On the 20th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s inauguration, the Royal Court is staging a series of readings, offering an insight into South African life today and the urgent concerns of a younger generation two decades after the end of apartheid. Below are the headshots of 6 writers who will have their work preformed at the Royal Court this week.

Writers: Omphile Molusi, Mongiwekaya, Napo Masheane, Amy Jephta, Simo Majola & Neil Coppen.
